## Newsletter

**Chan's AI Weekly** — the week in AI, curated and explained in five minutes. A weekly digest sent each Monday (NZ morning) to 1,100+ subscribers: one big story with an explicit "why it matters", the rest of the week's news grouped into themed categories, the new tools worth trying, and a short "In Brief" tier — every item linking to the original source. Written for practitioners and close followers of the field.

How it's made, in one paragraph: scripts gather roughly fifty of the week's AI industry signals plus notable product launches; Chan Meng then drafts the issue with Claude Code locally — Claude reads the whole pool, verifies items against the live web, and writes against a public, versioned house style guide — and she reviews the rendered email as a subscriber and edits until it ships, so a human is the quality gate. Deterministic checks run before any send (schema validation plus a leak guard that blocks aggregator attribution and untranslated source text), and each issue is archived on the site before it is broadcast.
